Scholarship Requirements

Requirements / General Information

REQUIREMENTS:

To be eligible for these scholarships, the following requirement must be met by the applicant:

  1. High School senior, currently enrolled in Boulder County 4-H, College, University, or Vocational student who has successfully completed five years of 4-H Club work, at least three of which much be in Boulder County.
  2. Have applied and been accepted at the College, University, or Vocational School for post secondary schooling.

 

GENERAL INFORMATION:

  1. Applicants may be awarded a specific scholarship only once.
  2. A winner of a Foundation 4-H Scholarship may reapply for one or all of the scholarships in following years.  Previous winners will not receive preferential consideration over any other candidates.

Funds will be paid directly to the College, University, or Vocational School that the applicant has applied to.  Funds are restricted to:  tuition, fees, board, books, and other educational needs.

 

Scholarship Recipients will be notified by the 4-H Foundation.  At that time, recipients must submit:

  1. Copy of acceptance letter from College, University, or Vocational School
  2. Address to where funds are to be sent
  3. Student Identification number from College, University, or Vocational School (not SSN)
  4. Thank you letter addressed to the scholarship (will be provided by 4-H Foundation) and addressed:
