What we do:

The Community Health program is a section of public health that gathers science-based information on health and wellbeing and shares it with the local community.  This allows for programming, initiatives, and information about health issues to be specific and relevant to our community.  Boulder County Extension Community Health serves as a bridge between Boulder County Public Health and Parks and Open Space (POS), providing programs that serve the Latinx, immigrant, and other underserved populations.  We offer hands on educational programming that focus on promoting physical and mental well-being of participants through outdoor experiences on POS lands, environmental education, as well as culturally relevant nutrition and cooking classes.
