Poultry Barn Watch at Fair
SIGN UP ON DOODLE POLL – Enter your name, check dates and times, click on “Save”.
We need your help during Fair. We have a lot of visitors through the barn each and every day of Fair and it’s always good to have a poultry person on hand to answer any questions, give guidance, and make sure all the birds are safe. The Poultry Team is usually in the barn, but sometimes we’d like a break, so if you could take a shift during Fair it would be greatly appreciated!
Duties include: Sweeping isles, checking water on all birds, keeping the birds safe, i.e. if someone is poking their finger through the cage at a bird – asking them to please be nice. Making sure no balloons or dogs enter the barn. Talking with the public and basically just being a presence.
10:00 – 1:00
1:00 – 3:00
3:00 – 6:00
6:00 – 9:00
We are open to the public from Tuesday, August 4 until Sunday, August 9. The barn will be closed to the public on Monday, August 3 while birds are being sorted.
Thanks in advance for helping!
