WHAT IS A CLUB?

A 4-H club is a group where 4-H members, ages 5-19, can meet to learn new things, develop leadership skills, and help their community. Each club focuses on different activities based on what its members are interested in, such as gardening, science, arts, livestock, or technology. Adults, who are trained volunteers, lead the clubs and help the members learn through hands-on projects. Our clubs meet once a month, with each club having its own designated date and location for these meetings. Being part of a 4-H club also gives members the chance to take part in events and competitions at local, state, and national levels, allowing them to grow their knowledge, skills, and friendships.

CLUB DIRECTORY

Our Club Directory PDF is a handy guide that lists all our clubs and teams, along with everything you need to know to find the right fit:

  • Club Name
  • Club Leader(s) and their contact information
  • Projects Supported
  • Meeting Details: When and where they meet each month

How to Use the Club Directory

Start by browsing the directory and contacting the club leader to learn more about their club. Be sure to ask questions and discuss whether their club is the best fit for you.

Things to Think About:

  • Does the club support the project you’ve chosen?
  • Do their meeting times and locations work for your schedule?

The Club Directory PDF can be found by clicking the Quick Link: Club Directory on this page. Dive in and start exploring! We’re excited to help you find your 4-H home.

WHAT IS A PROJECT?

A 4-H project is like a learning adventure! It’s a hands-on activity or topic you choose to explore and learn more about. It could be about animals, cooking, robotics, gardening, photography, or even leadership skills. You dive into the project, set goals, and work on it with guidance from 4-H leaders. It’s a fun way to learn, make friends, and grow your skills!

WHAT IS A CLOVERBUD?

Cloverbuds are the youngest members of our 4-H community, and they’re all about having fun while learning and growing.

Cloverbuds focus on simple, enjoyable activities that help them explore new things and develop important skills. From making snacks to planting seeds or getting creative with crafts, Cloverbuds get to experience the excitement of learning in a safe and supportive environment.

As part of 4-H clubs led by trained leaders, Cloverbuds have the opportunity to participate in a variety of events and activities throughout the year. They can join in fashion shows, cooking adventures, and other engaging experiences designed just for them.

It’s important to note that Cloverbuds don’t take part in certain activities, like shooting or handling animals, to ensure their safety and wellbeing. Instead, they engage in activities that are tailored to their age and stage of development, helping them to thrive and enjoy their 4-H journey.
