After the Platte County contest came the El Paso County contest, where there were two teams from Boulder County. Team A was Anna, Luke and Gabe, with a senior member from Elbert County filling in. Team B was Jocelyn, Carra, Claire and Alarice. Results were:![]()

Jocelyn – first in Exam Phase, first in Stations Phase, fifth in Judging and third overall junior![]()
Luke – fifth in Exam Phase, fourth in Stations Phase, eighth in Judging and fifth overall junior![]()
Gabe – second in Exam Phase (tied with Jocelyn), ninth in Judging, and ninth overall junior![]()
Alarice – sixth in Judging, ninth in Exam Phase, seventh in Stations Phase, and eighth overall junior![]()
Claire – fourth in Exam Phase, fifth in Stations Phase, fourth in Judging, and fourth overall senior![]()
Anna – third in Exam Phase, fourth in Stations Phase, first in Judging, and Reserve Champion senior![]()

Boulder County Hippology Team wins Championship at State Conference![]()

The final competition for the season was the State contest held at CSU in Ft. Collins. This contest saw teams from around the state compete in four phases (exam, stations, judging, team problem) to determine which team, as champions, would be eligible to travel to the national contest held at the National Western Stock Show Roundup and at a second national contest at either or both Arabian Nationals or AQHA Congress.![]()

When results were announced, the Boulder County team had taken first place in the Exam Phase, Stations Phase, Team Problem and overall. Team members will be deciding which contest to attend soon. Individual results were:![]()
