Post-Secondary/College Scholarships

The Boulder County 4-H Foundation administers the following scholarships:

Boulder County 4-H Youth Council Scholarship ($600)
Boulder County 4-H Youth Council provides funding for this annual scholarship from involvement in the 4-H Carnival.  This scholarship is open to all areas of 4-H.  Scholarship will be awarded to a member of a Boulder County 4-H Club for at least 3 years.  This scholarship can be awarded only once to a specific individual.

Boulder County Homemaker Council Scholarship
The Boulder County Homemakers began in the 1920’s, and while they have since disbanded, they continue to support 4-H through this scholarship.  This scholarship is open to all areas.

Boulder County Fair Board Scholarship ($500)*
The Boulder County Fair Board provides funding for this new scholarship.  This scholarship is open to 4-H members who have been enrolled in Boulder County 4-H for at least 3 years, registered in General and/or Home Economics 4-H projects, and shown at the Boulder County Fair.  This scholarship is available to graduating High School seniors only and can be awarded only once to a specific individual.

Boulder County Fair Jr. Livestock Sale Committee Scholarship
For members having sold a project in the Boulder County Fair Jr. Market Sale for three years. Please note the process has changed to be an online submission of your scholarship application and materials. You will need a copy of your most recent high school and/or college scholarship. The online form can be submitted here and the deadline is May 1st.

MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIPS

Jeri Krafft Memorial Scholarship ($500)
The family of Jeri Krafft awards an annual $500 scholarship in memory of their mother.  This scholarship has the following criteria – Evidence of leadership and 4-H involvement is preferred.  Scholarship will be awarded to a 4-H member who has participated in the Horse and/or Livestock Program for at least 5 years.  The scholarship will be awarded to a current active 4-H member and one who has been in the Boulder County 4-H program for at least five years.  If no one meets the scholarship criteria, no scholarship will be awarded.  Funds can be used for Trade School or a 4 year institution.  This scholarship can be awarded only once to a specific individual.

General Memorial Scholarship
The 4-H Foundation administers several memorial scholarships, created to remember those leaders who served the Boulder County 4-H Program in the past.
