Are you interested in helping support our 4-H members? The Boulder County Fair offers ways for our community to show their support of the countless hours our members have dedicated to their projects:
2023 Junior Livestock Sale – click on the link to discover opportunities to support our members and their livestock projects. The sale will be on Sunday, August 13. Here is what the schedule looks like:

7/18 – 7/29 – Signups for Interview Slots open. Slots are first-come, first-served. The link is live and ready for you: https://www.signupgenius.com/tabs/83C72DB00AEC8EDC17-2022. The link will take you to ALL the signups for Interview Judging, please select your project area and then select your times.
8/4 9:00 AM- 3:00 – Interview Judging Day, Exhibit Building
Please arrive for your interview on time. All interviews are scheduled for 15-minute intervals. See below for additional information. Don’t forget your signed Record Book!
8/2 4:00 PM – 4-H Fashion Revue, Exhibit Building – Registration was through FairEntry.
8/13 10:00 AM – General Project Awards, Exhibit Building
8/15 4:00-6:00 PM Exhibit Release,Exhibit Building
State Fair Project drop off – Extension Office If your item is a champion of the unit, it will be eligible for State Fair Exhibition. You will need to drop off your state fair bound project (remade if food/cake item or with edits the judge may suggest) during the designated time. You will receive more information following Interview judging.
8/16- 8/22 – 4-H Product Sale will take place online. You will be notified of your eligibility following interview judging. All participating entries must be confirmed by August 15. Entries from the Fiber category will need to be dropped off during Interview Judging.
Interview Judging Information – August 4. Interview times begin at 9:00 AM
All general project members are encouraged to take part in Interview Judging. If members would like to have their projects evaluated but are unable to attend, they are invited to use the Absentee Interview Form and turn in their projects for evaluation during the Interview Judging Day. Please make sure all items are labeled.
Use the Signup Genius link (https://www.signupgenius.com/tabs/83C72DB00AEC8EDC17-2022) to plan your interview(s) times. The link takes you to ALL signups for the 2022 Interview Judging Day, please make sure you are selecting the appropriate form for your project interview. Each signup is for a single judge that will be interviewing the projects listed. If you have more than one project in a single department you are welcome to schedule back-to-back interviews. There will be a lunch break for judges, volunteers, and staff from 11:30-12:15. Department listings can be found in the State Fair Exhibit Requirement or in the General Projects Fairbook (links below).
All interviews will take place at the Boulder County Fairgrounds Exhibit Building, which is located on the West side of the fairgrounds. Please use the West parking lots and enter on the West side. Find your check-in table and wait or continue to your interview. Come say “Hi” at Fort 4-H!

all 4-H members and families are invited to list project-related items and gently used wearables you no longer need or use.
Livestock – Use this for re-homing animals from fair, selling meat or processed animals, etc. Use the template and be specific in your animals.
General Interest Items Use this for re-homing 4-H equipment, show clothing, project materials, etc. – anything you might have outgrown or no longer need and think another 4-H member might use. Use the template and be specific in your product and description.
